On Thursday is the new studio album from the duo of British drummer Phelan Burgoyne and Italian pianist Emanuele Maniscalco, this time augmented into a trio by Danish double bass legend Anders Christensen. The album, recorded in Copenhagen at the famed Village Studios in the summer of 2019 features all new original compositions by Burgoyne with an emphasis on strong melody and clarity of form.
