In the fall of 2024, Minua made a detour during their tour to record a selection of new pieces. The location was Église Saint-Martin des Champs, a modest pre-Christian church nestled just outside the village of Oltingue in Alsace. This quiet, historically rich space — with its centuries-old stonework and resonant acoustics — offered the perfect backdrop for the project. In many ways, the setting marked a return to early Minua territory, both geographically and sonically, reconnecting with the intimate and textural roots that shaped their initial work. The resulting EP captures this moment, blending the immediacy of the live recording with the contemplative atmosphere of the ancient chapel.
