“Sadhana” is a co-led trio interested in the intersection between heartbreaking melodies, free-impro, avant-garde, and story-telling composing.
The word 'sādhanā' refers to a spiritual discipline encompassing a comprehensive array of practices, rituals, and austerities. When undertaken with regularity and focus, it aims to achieve spiritual growth and liberation.
Drawing inspiration from this concept, this trio crafts sonic landscapes that invite listeners on a journey of introspection and connection.
The music subtly interweaves improvisation and composition, oscillating between serene melodies and chaotic bursts, creating an unpredictable yet captivating atmosphere.
“ROOMBOTER” mirrors the guitarist’s last years in The Netherlands, mixed with the Neapolitan roots the three members of the group share.
The fruits of this journey revealed a collection of songs and improvised music crafted in the vibrant backdrop of Amsterdam, capturing the city's eclectic spirit and artistic pulse.
For this gathering, the album features the talents of exquisite musicians from the Amsterdam music scene, expanding the original trio constellation.
